sliding doors >

Its clean frame design – with an uncluttered sill rebate – meets designer demands for simplicity of appearance but with no compromise on performance. The bottom-rolling door panels operate reliably in large weights or sizes, with no danger of lintel sag. Because they are rated to 150kg, Metro sliding panels are assured performers even when double-glazed (maximum 24mm IGU thickness).

Sliding doors move on an external track to optimise weathertightness and ensure suitability in a wide range of demanding locations. (Note that the external track means that outward opening windows cannot be placed in adjoining sidelights, only in overlights or coupled sidelights.)

To enhance the overall aesthetics of the Metro slider, door interlocker stiles have flush sightlines in the closed position. Stiffening boxes have also been designed to project partly to the inside as well as the outside, obviating the need for a single, larger sized box.

STYLE > clean lines, flat surfaces, modern appearance
PERFORMANCE > tested for use in 'SPECIFIC DESIGN' areas
VERSATILITY > full range of window and door configurations
SUITABILITY > residential applications in demanding environments
