In keeping with the coordinated Metro look, the bi-fold frame and door profiles are almost identical to the hinged door system. In other words, they follow the same smart, straightforward lines.

The bi-fold panels are bottom rolling so there is no weight on the lintel and therefore no danger of doors jamming. Maximum panel width is 900mm with weight guidelines that allow the use of 24mm double glazing. The rolling gear is housed within the sill and head frame so is largely invisible from the inside and outside in the closed position.

In some configurations (2 panel, 2 + 2, 2+1) an option exists for a fold-back position for fully open bi-folds. This feature allows two panels to swing back against adjoining walls rather than project out at 90 degrees, just the thing where an uncluttered deck is desired.
